Professor Gus Medicus regularly leads an art

history tour to Florence and surrounding sites of interest from late May through early July; he has been conducting these on-site courses since 2003.   Students can earn up to 6 credits in art history and Italian culture on this trip.  Contact Dr. Medicus for further information.

Kent State University has its own medieval palazzo near the Piazza della Signoria in Florence for its KSU Florence programs. All trips include field trips to Rome and other cities in Tuscany to enhance the understanding of historical and contemporary Italian culture and peoples.
