Each semester, faculty organize travel-study tours to various important art locations, New York being a regular destination.  Enrollment is limited and majors in the School have priority.

 

2009Fall Semester

For the fall semester, groups focusing on painting, on sculpture and installation, and on printmaking will visit New York on 5-9 November.   Another group focusing on art history and on art education made the trip just prior to spring break in March; they visited major museums and exhibitions as well as a number of commercial galleries.

Special course fee for 2009-2010 are $350, with no tuition charge for students whose total enrollment remains at less than 19 (this is a 2-credit class);  students may register for these special courses only through the third week of the semester.

Spaces are open in Sculpture (ARTF 5/44092-009) and Painting (ARTF 5/44092-008); check with Professors O'Keeffe and Ball, respectively regarding pre-requisites.
